Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the hosting server may record basic request information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page, and timestamp. These technical logs are used to keep the site secure, diagnose errors, and understand aggregate traffic. The site itself does not use analytics cookies or analytics scripts. The advertising library described below is subject to the site’s advertising choice.
Information you choose to send
If you contact the site by email, the message includes the information you provide, such as your email address and the contents of your note. That information is used to answer the message and maintain necessary correspondence.
Google advertising (AdSense)
This site uses Google AdSense publisher verification and an advertising library, Google’s advertising program. Publisher identification does not mean that ads will appear or that Google has approved the site. Personalized and non-personalized advertising
Google advertising, when available, may be personalized or non-personalized according to Google’s configuration and applicable requirements. This site does not select a personalization setting through its first-party controls. Its advertising choice controls whether the AdSense library and existing ad requests may load. You can change that choice using the controls below; declining prevents new loading on subsequent page visits.

Consent
The AdSense library is eligible only on the homepage and explanation articles. It loads only after an advertising choice is recorded as allowed. Without that choice, including after a rejection, the page does not load it. If you withdraw a choice after the library has already loaded, reload the page to apply the restriction to a fresh page; previously loaded third-party code cannot be recalled. Publisher verification metadata itself does not request an ad or set a cookie. These controls record a first-party preference. They do not claim certification by Google or establish that a regional consent requirement has been satisfied. The site's reading, search, and navigation functions never require consent and remain fully usable regardless of your choices.
Analytics
This site does not currently run any third-party analytics product. If analytics is added later, this policy will be updated to describe it.
Cookies and local storage
The core reading and search features do not set cookies. The consent tool may store a small record of your choices in your browser so that your preferences are respected on future visits. Advertising partners may set their own cookies when ads are displayed, as described above.
